📋 What is WriterClaw?

WriterClaw is a user-friendly application designed to help you manage and improve your writing tasks. It offers simple tools to organize notes, draft documents, and check your writing. It works on Windows computers without any setup or technical skills required.


💻 System Requirements

Before downloading, please ensure your computer meets these basic requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or newer
  • Processor: Intel or AMD, 1.5 GHz or higher
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum
  • Disk Space: 150 MB free space
  • Internet connection: Needed only to download the software

WriterClaw does not need any additional software or complex setups.


🚀 Getting Started

Follow these steps to download and run WriterClaw on your Windows computer.

1. Visit the Download Page

Click the large button below to open the download page in your web browser. This page contains the latest version of WriterClaw for Windows.

2. Download the Installer

On the download page, look for the “Releases” section. Find the latest release and download the Windows installer file. The file usually ends with .exe, for example, WriterClaw-Setup.exe.

Save this installer file to a folder you can easily access, like your Desktop or Downloads folder.

3. Run the Installer

  • Double-click the downloaded .exe file.
  • A window will open asking you to start the installation.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • When asked where to install, the default folder is fine.
  • Wait until the installer finishes.

4. Open WriterClaw

After installation completes, you will find a new icon on your Desktop or in the Start Menu named "WriterClaw." Double-click it to open the application.


🧰 How to Use WriterClaw

WriterClaw has a simple interface split into three main parts:

  • Notes: Write and keep your notes organized.
  • Drafts: Work on documents with basic editing features.
  • Check: Quickly check your writing for simple errors and suggestions.

Writing Notes

  • Click on the “Notes” tab.
  • Use the large text box to write down your ideas.
  • Save notes automatically or click the save button to keep them for later.

Working on Drafts

  • Select the “Drafts” tab.
  • Start a new document or open an existing draft.
  • Use the toolbar to format basic text: bold, italic, underline, and lists.

Checking Your Writing

  • Click the “Check” tab.
  • Copy and paste your text or write directly inside the box.
  • Click the “Check” button to find common mistakes.
  • Suggestions will appear below the text box.

⚙️ Settings and Preferences

WriterClaw allows you to adjust simple settings to fit your needs.

  • Change the font size for better readability.
  • Switch between light and dark modes.
  • Choose your preferred language (English support included).
  • Enable autosave in drafts and notes.

Settings are easy to access from the gear icon in the top right corner of the app.


🔧 Troubleshooting

If you run into any issues, try these steps:

  • Make sure your Windows is up to date.
  • Restart your computer and try to run WriterClaw again.
  • Check if your antivirus is blocking the app.
  • Ensure you have enough disk space.
  • Re-download the installer if the first one does not work properly.
